It’s unlikely that this is an actual charge.
- When you make a purchase request on the Zip App, we pre-authorise your payment card for the first instalment -25% of your purchase request
- If the charge is unsuccessful the pre-authorisation will be cancelled. This usually takes 24-48 hours, although in some cases this can take up to 10 business days
- If a purchase request is cancelled before the purchase is complete, the pending charge will disappear, if it remains on your bank statement for a few days, don’t worry, you still won’t be charged
- Once you complete your order, this pre-authorisation will become your first instalment
